Snowflake Snowpipe with Azure— System Topic error related to EventGrid subscription

If you are setting up Snowflake Snowpipe first time with Azure container following https://snowflakewiki.medium.com/snowpipe-setup-to-azure-container-1a320a93f1b5 then, at step 3) Create Event grid subscription, following error could be encountered.

To resolve it, follow the below steps -

1) Go to Azure Home Page and click on Subscriptions

2) Select the subscription using which your Snowflake connectivity is done (here its Free Trail account) and go to Resource providers.

3) Search for Eventgrid and you may notice Microsoft.Eventgrid is NotRegistered

4) Click on the register at the top and to enable it for your subscription

Following it, you can continue with creating eventgrid to complete Snowpipe set up.
